Our Aluminium Sliding Doors are available in 100, 200 and 300 Series styles, as well as Thermal Star™ 150 and 350 Series models.

Southern Star's 100 Series Sliding Door offers a solid 80mm frame and is an attractive and sturdy sliding door. Our doors are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations to suit your homes requirements. The Southern Star Windows 100 Series Sliding Door is also available as a Stacking Sliding Door providing the perfect solution for indoor/outdoor living creating large open space and seamless transition from inside to outside.

Glazing Method & Options

  • Fixed panels glazed with co-extruded channel into door frame.
  • Sliding panels glazed with co-extruded channel, encased by aluminium door stiles and rails.
  • Can be single glazed in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 6.38 glass.
  • All sliding door glass would be glazed with Grade A safety glass to AS1288.
  • Acoustic, laminated and toughened glazing options are also available.

Performance

  • Water: 300pa maximum (size limits apply).
  • Overall rating: N4 maximum (size limits apply).
  • Higher ratings are available and may be subject to size limits.

200 Series Sliding Door

The 200 Series Sliding Door combines sophisticated and modern architectural design with superior quality, functionality, style and value. The 200 Series Sliding Door can be double glazed and is suitable for most semi commercial projects. It is also available as Stacking Sliding Door and these are available too in a corner unit. A 200 Series Stacking Sliding Door provides the perfect solution for indoor/outdoor living creating large open space and seamless transition from inside to outside.

Glazing Method & Options

  • Glass is fixed using vinyl glazing channel encased inside aluminium stiles and rails.
  • Can be glazed in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 6.38 glass.
  • Can be double glazed using 18mm DGU.
  • Acoustic, laminated and toughened glazing options are also available.

Performance

  • Water: Standard 300pa (with Finseal).
  • Air infiltration: Air conditioned rating to AS2047.
  • Overall rating: N4 maximum (size and configuration limits apply).
  • Higher ratings are available and may be subject to size limits.

The 300 Series Sliding Door can also be glazed up to 18mm. Our doors are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations to suit your home’s requirements.

Glazing Method & Options

  • Both single and double glazed door panels are internally glazed.
  • Glass is glazed using glazing tape and glazing wedges.
  • Acoustic, laminated and toughened glazing options are also available.
  • Glass Thicknesses: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 6.38mm, 8mm, 10mm, 18mm DGU.
  • Max Panel Size: Height: 2700. Width: 1500.

Performance

  • Overall Rating: N4 maximum (size limits apply)
  • Water Penetration rating: 300 Pa.
  • Suitable for air-conditioned applications
