Placing an Order

Orders can be placed online for select replacement parts and hardware.

If you cannot place an order for a particular item online, please call our team for further assistance.

If you are buying a product that has colour options, please select your preferred colour from the drop-down box.

Payment Methods

Payments made through our website incur a 1.7% + $0.30 processing fee which is non-refundable.

    • International Shipping: We do not offer international shipping options.

*Shipping timeframes are not guaranteed, as we rely on Australia Post for delivery. These estimates are indicative and depend on Australia Post’s supply channels to your delivery address.

 

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on flat-rate policies for both standard and express shipping.

 

Order Tracking

  • Once your order has been despatched, you will receive an Australia Post tracking number via email, allowing you to monitor the status and delivery date of your package.

 


 

Returns and Refunds

We understand that there may be instances where you need to return a product. Our returns policy is designed to make the process as simple and convenient as possible. Refunds will not include shipping costs.

 

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns made due to change of mind must be initiated within 5 days of receiving the product.
  • To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.

 

Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Package your item securely and clearly mark the RA number on the return label.
  3. Ship the item to the address provided by our customer support team.

 

Confirmation of Return Request

Upon contacting our team to request a return, you will receive an email confirming your request, along with your Return Authorisation (RA) number. Please refer to this email for further instructions.

 

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original payment method. Please allow a 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

 

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is a result of our error, such as receiving an item that does not match the one ordered.

 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, you can return the unwanted product and place a new order for the replacement.

 

Missing Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our team within 7 days of receiving the product to determine replacement/refund options. If your item goes missing during shipping please contact us at info@southernstarwindows.com.au for replacement/refund options.

 

Installation

Southern Star Windows & Doors accepts no responsibility for incorrect installation, and damage to ordered parts or other items as a result of incorrect installation.

 


 

Guarantees & Warranty

Under Australian Consumer Law, we cannot exclude guarantees that protect consumers. This includes guarantees regarding the quality, safety, and reliability of the products we supply. Pricing Errors

  • If the error is noticed before the order is dispatched, we will offer to either sell the item at the corrected price or cancel the order.
